Festival de Navidad 2026 (Alumbrados)

Medellín's Christmas season is the city at its best: the famous alumbrados light installations along the river, plus more than 120 free concerts, parades and neighbourhood events through December. It costs nothing to walk, and the riverside light displays are the single most photographed thing in the city all year. Go on a weeknight if you want to avoid the crush.
