Semana de la Cultura y Fiestas del Carriel 2026

Envigado's biggest annual festival — ten days of free concerts, cultural shows, food competitions and street programming honoring the carriel, the traditional Antioquian leather satchel. The final weekend is the strongest: a best-morcilla-and-empanada contest on July 25 from 2pm, followed by the Carriel Concert with Fruko y sus Tesos and Orquesta La Bocana, then a silletera exhibition on Sunday morning. Everything is free and open to all, and Envigado is a short metro ride from Medellín proper. A good low-key alternative to the Feria de las Flores crowds.
