The best things to do in Medellín this weekend (October 24–25, 2026) start with a free one: the city’s 14th Fiesta de la Diversidad Cultural at Parque de los Deseos in the Aranjuez district. How we sourced this: the city’s press release and event page list the acts by day but give no per-act start times, and the programme PDF the event page links (medellin.gov.co) returned a “not found” error when we tried it on October 21, so times below are day-level only.

The city’s culture secretariat bills this year’s edition under the theme “Infinitas formas de encontrarse” and describes it as a gathering of cultures, stories and people, according to the official event page. The event page’s programme section was empty when we checked, so plan to wander rather than keep a strict schedule. The page links an official programme PDF, which may carry per-act detail if it is restored.

Also this weekend
Salón del Inmueble (Oct 23–25). Camacol Antioquia’s property fair at El Tesoro lists 33 builders and 178 projects, according to Vivir en El Poblado, which also reports hours of 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Sunday, matching Publimetro’s report; neither says whether entry is free. Full breakdown in our Salón del Inmueble guide.
Out of town: Guatapé Film Fest. A filmmaker-submission listing, FestHome, gives October 21–25, 2026 for the fourth edition, but we found no organizer schedule or tickets. Treat it as unconfirmed.
Temporada Cultural Medellín 2026 (final day Oct 25). The second edition of the season runs September 25 to October 25, 2026, with 170 activities, 1,900 artists, 140 cultural organizations and 30 venues across museums, theatres, libraries, bookstores and neighborhoods, per Publimetro. Sunday is the last day. Publimetro does not say which activities are free or list a per-day schedule, so check with the organizer, Promotora Cultural, before heading out.
More options. We did not find a confirmed concert or theatre listing for these two dates to add here. Browse our Medellín events calendar for the latest.

Practical tips
- Editorial advice, not from the city: bring some cash and a light rain layer, since the release does not mention food vendors or weather provisions.
- Go earlier for the children’s and craft activities, later for the music stages (our suggestion based on the lineup).
- Follow @cultura.med on Instagram and the Alcaldía’s site for the full agenda, per the city release.
