22ª Fiesta de las Artes Escénicas de Medellín

Medellín's biggest performing-arts festival takes over the city's independent theatres for nine days of theatre, dance, music and oral storytelling. Organised by Medellín en Escena, the association of the city's stage venues, it spreads more than a hundred performances across some twenty halls, with national, regional and international companies. Street parades and outdoor showcases are free; ticketed shows are usually cheap by international standards.
