Hansel y Gretel — Opera for Children
A Sunday-morning family staging of Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, sung in Spanish, with two siblings lost in an enchanted forest and a score built on German folk melodies. The production pulls together singers, ballet dancers, a children's choir and the Filarmed chamber ensemble under Gonzalo Ospina. Part of the Teatro Metropolitano's La Tempo en Familia series and a good first opera for kids. Tickets from $45,000 COP (Platea 3) up to $75,000 COP, plus service fee.
