Marcos Cañola Cuarteto: Miti at El Club del Jazz
Medellín bassist Marcos Cañola and his quartet play live from Miti, their new album recorded in Quito. It mixes Andean rhythms like bunde, sanjuanito and pasillo with contemporary jazz improvisation, and trombonist Juan Rúa joins as a guest. The venue is El Club del Jazz, a small non-profit jazz club downtown. Showtime isn't published, so check the ticket page.
