Primer Encuentro de Músicas Tradicionales del Pacífico y Caribe

A first-edition gathering bringing together traditional music from Colombia's two coasts — the marimba-and-chirimía sounds of the Pacific alongside Caribbean cumbia, porro and bullerengue. It runs late at La Pascasia downtown. One of the more interesting nights on the calendar if you want to hear Colombian roots music played straight rather than as a tourist show.
