Semana de la Cultura Silletera — Santa Elena 2026

In the mountain corregimiento of Santa Elena, twelve silletero farms open to visitors for four days of workshops, food and music in the run-up to the Desfile de Silleteros. You watch families assemble the flower arrangements they will carry down into the city on 9 August and hear the stories behind a tradition that is now recognised national heritage. Getting there takes about 45 minutes by car or the Santa Elena bus from Terminal del Norte; individual farms may charge for tours or meals, so check before you go.
