The 26th edition of Medellín's flagship trova contest, held every year during the Feria de las Flores. Trova paisa is improvised, rhymed, often savage comic verse traded between two performers, and eight of the country's best go head to head here. Your Spanish will get destroyed and it's still worth going — this is about as close to the Antioqueño soul as a visitor gets.
