25th Festival Colombiano de Teatro Ciudad de Medellín
The 25th edition of Medellín's long-running national theatre festival runs under the theme 'Celebrar el espacio sagrado del teatro'. Companies from across Colombia, plus guests from Argentina, Germany and Brazil, perform at the Ateneo Porfirio Barba Jacob, Pequeño Teatro, Alianza Francesa, Bellas Artes, Casa Clown, Acción Impro and other houses. The festival opens on Oct 5 with a popular-song gala at the Solar del Águila Descalza. Many performances are free with a voluntary contribution. Shows are in Spanish.
