Oviedo Mall (Centrol Comercio Ovideo) has over 40yrs of continuous development which makes it one of the largest and oldest malls in Poblado. Opening back in 1979 with only 97 local shops and gradually growing every few years.

1994 - they added additional commercial space which included opening of 80 shops and a food court
1998 - they added 106 more shops, large department stores and a movie theater
2003 - now with close to a million square feet and 5 levels of commercial space they added 7 restaurants and more large format department stores
2010 - they added the big Apple you see as an icon on the mall which represents Medellin as the City of Eternal Spring. In the past decade they added ample amount of parking space, entertainment venues, large movie theater and co-working space.

Co-Working

For those looking to get away from the office, or digital nomads that look to work outside; Oviedo Mall has multiple co-working spots where you can grab a coffee and unpack your laptop and get work on your latest project. The Co-working spots are free along with the WIFI, the spaces are modern and clean which allow you to be productive.

Oviedo is huge, it actually has several food courts that it built during its development phases. You will find over 50 Restaurants to eat in, majority are fast food spots. You can find the bigger ones where you can get sit down service at Peru Wok, Crepe & Waffles, Parmessano and more. Getting There & Parking

Walking: Oviedo located in Poblado on Avenida Poblado in between Santa Fe Mall and Mille De Oro. A lot of the big hotels are close about 5-10 minute walk from it. You can probably ask your hotel admin to point you the way.

Metro: Outside Poblado you can take the Medellin Metro station to Agaucatala, which is about 10-20 minute walk from the mall. In your GPS you can put in “Centro Comercial Oviedo” and it’ll point you the way.

Car: If you drive you can take the Avenida Poblado straight South or North to, Oviedo Mall has over 1,500 Parking Spaces, outside and covered spaces. You shouldn’t have any problem looking for a spot to park your car. Below is the price for parking.

Uber / Taxi: Oviedo is a landmark in itself; so, its pretty easy to tell the Taxi Driver that you want to go to “Centro Comercial Oviedo”
