Join us on Friday, June 7 at 6:30 pm at the Medellín Planetarium for the launch of “Big Beats,” an exhilarating new laser dome show featuring electronic music from iconic artists such as The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Underworld, The Prodigy, The Crystal Method, Aphex Twin, and Propellerheads. These prominent representatives of the 90s musical genre known as Big Beat boldly integrate sounds from rock, psychedelia, punk, and funk, intertwining them with the characteristic sounds of house, acid, and techno. This audiovisual immersion promises to be an exploration of diverse and experimental musical areas.
The event will begin with a welcome cocktail, followed by a dance floor hosted by a guest DJ specializing in electronic music. José Gallego, an electronic music expert, will deliver an insightful talk, and attendees will be treated to the interactive visuals of Stratosphere. The evening will also include telescope observations and a museum tour. As a special bonus, the first 50 ticket buyers will receive a commemorative pin and a postcard from the show. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the fusion of music, visuals, and astronomy at the Medellín Planetarium on Friday, June 7th at 6:30 pm.
