In the midst of security concerns in Medellin, the U.S. Embassy will be hosting a town hall meeting in which everyone holding a U.S. Passport is invited to attend. The Consul General and the American Citizens Services Chief will provide an overview of consular services for U.S. citizens in Colombia, discuss recent security alerts, share information on how to vote absentee, and conduct a Q&A session.
The Town Hall will be held at Centro Cultural Colombo Americano de Medellin – Sede Centro – Cra 45 #53-24 on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 6:00-7:00PM.
All attendees must register by February 26, 2024, at: https://forms.office.com/g/JKK8Bh2Q6i . Upon registration the Embassy will send further details including the venue address. This Town Hall event is limited to U.S. citizens and parents of minor U.S. citizens. The Town Hall will be conducted in English.
This will only be a meeting to address concerns, there will be nobody on staff to answer visa, passport or other related questions. If you have any questions of this nature, reaching out to the consulate is advised.
