I’ve been going to Kokoa since the early days in Cartagena. Pepe, the owner, is a good friend of mine, but friendship aside, I can confidently say his sushi is hands down the best I’ve had in Colombia. When he told me he was moving the restaurant to Medellín, it was music to my ears. I’ve recommended Kokoa to countless friends and anyone who’ll listen, and I always will. The quality, the flavor, the presentation, it’s all top-notch. You definitely need to check it out. And don’t sleep on the cocktails, they’re just as good as the sushi.
