Centro Comercial Monterrey is a unique specialty mall located in Medellín, Colombia. This mall is unlike any other in the area, with a specific focus on technology products. With over 175 shops dedicated to technology products, Monterrey is a one-stop-shop for anyone looking for the latest technology gadgets.
In addition to the technology shops, the mall also has a range of other amenities, such as a bowling alley, movie theater, gym, and food court with many eating options. There is even an eight-floor office tower with professional and commercial businesses like doctors and dentists offering their services. Monterrey is an older mall, but its specialty stores offer hard-to-find technology products and great prices.

Repairing your Apple products

Monterrey Mall is expanding with a project that will add more shops to the mall. The mall also provides technology repair services, including authorized repair places for major manufacturers like Apple and HP. There are two Apple repair places in the mall: Digital Mac and We Mac. Additionally, the mall has a guide service, Monterrey Te Guia, that helps visitors navigate through the stores in the mall and find specific items.

Monterrey Mall is home to various small technology shops offering a range of brands such as Acer, Asus, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Lenovo, Samsung, and more. There are also stores specializing in computer parts, gaming equipment, and printers and cartridges. Digital Universe store is one of the popular technology stores in the mall, specializing in cameras and related products, including drones.

Bowling in Monterrey

Bowlinco Bolera, located on the fifth floor of the mall, is a popular bowling alley that has been in operation for over 20 years. It features 18 lanes and is open until 11:00 pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends and holidays. The cost is 10,000 pesos per person per game, and shoes are available for an additional 1,500 pesos. Bowlinco Bolera also has a restaurant/bar and pool tables, making it a great place to spend a fun evening with friends or family.

Movie Theater

The Cinemas Procinal movie theater is another great entertainment option at Monterrey mall. With five screens, it offers a variety of movies for all ages and interests. Cinemas Procinal is a well-known chain with movie theaters in eight cities across Colombia, and they offer a frequent moviegoer card that provides discounts on tickets, food, and beverages.

If you’re looking for a quick bite or a place to sit down and enjoy a meal, Monterrey Mall has plenty of options for you. The two small food courts on the first and second floors offer a variety of fast food choices, including McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, and Subway. There are also several smaller, locally-owned eateries that serve up Colombian classics like arepas and empanadas.
For those who prefer to sit down and enjoy a meal there are also some restaurants located in the mall. There you can find the usual variety of food that you’re used to find in Colombian food courts.

Getting There & Parking​

Getting to Monterrey Mall is easy, whether you’re coming by public transport or private vehicle. The mall is located just a few minutes’ walk from the El Poblado metro station.

Metro: Line A of the Medellín Metro system. So, if you’re coming from anywhere in the city, you can simply hop on the metro and get off at El Poblado.

Walking: From Parque Lleras, it’s a downhill 15-minute walk to the mall. Just follow the Carrera 37 street towards El Poblado until you reach Carrera 48, where the mall is located. 

Taxi: And if you’re coming by taxi, just tell the driver you want to go to Monterrey Mall and they’ll know where to take you. 

Car: If you’re driving, the mall has a parking lot with over 600 spaces. The cost of parking is 4,000 pesos for zero to four hours on Monday to Friday and 4,000 pesos per hour after four hours. On Saturdays, parking costs 4,000 pesos for zero to six hours plus an additional 4,000 pesos per hour after six hours. So, plan accordingly and enjoy your time at Monterrey Mall.
